SC-712
is a Non-Mineral "ACID" alternative with no
odors
or fumes. It attacks the portland in
cement, completely dissolving the hardened cement to a mushy substance
that is then rinseable with a High Pressure Washer, using cold water.
SC-712
can be used to remove cured cement, concrete, mortar, grout & stucco off
any surface.
Use to clean:
Ready-Mix trucks,
Mixers, Vehicles, Forms, Molds, Cement buggies, Pumps, Trowels, Screeds,
Concrete saws, Slip Form Pavers, Augers, etc.
Direction For Use:
IMPORTANT: NEVER WET SURFACE BEFORE
APPLYING SC-712
(1) Completely
saturate area of hardened concrete to be removed with
un-diluted SC-712
thru a air-foamer,
sprayer or soft brush. Surface will turn white upon contact with SC-712
, then darken. (If allowed to evaporate, white residue will appear,
DO NOT RINSE. Re-apply SC-712
to reactivate as needed until concrete is soften to a mush.
(2) Allow SC-712
to penetrate 10-15 minutes. After that time, re-apply to same area.
Keep surface wet with SC-712
. Concrete will begin to soften and release from surface.
(Total time about 20-30 minutes)
(3) Rinse with cold
water via High-Pressure washer (1000-3000 psi). On extra thick buildup,
repeat cleaning directions until buildup is soften.
Air & Surface
Temperatures:
Do not clean with any type
product when temperatures are below freezing or when surface has been
exposed to extreme heat from direct sun. Best results are arrived when
cleaning is done with temperature is between 40 degree F - 80 degree
F. (Hot surface temperature may cause scorching)
Pre-Testing:
Test to determined if
desired surface contact time and potential for adverse reactions with
application. Allow test panels to dry thoroughly before evaluating
final results and appearance.
Caution:
Always wear eye protection
when handling or applying any type chemical.
Do not
wet concrete with water before
applying SC-712.
